This coffee comes from a family owned washing station in Shakiso, that we have worked with the last four seasons. Denbi Uddo is the closes village to the station and most of the workers and farmers live here. 850 farmers grow their coffee on 1800-1950 meters in the green, lush area and deliver their cherries to the washing station. Manager Faysel Ahdosh oversees the work, of pulping and fermentation. Due to the altitude fermentation time can go up to 36 hours before coffee is dried on African beds for 10-12 days.
